From Print Shop to Speakeasy
The Velvet Fox opened its doors in 2019 inside a beautifully weathered print shop building in the heart of downtown Austin. We kept the exposed brick, the old timber beams, and the quiet, secretive character of the space — and filled it with the warmth of candlelight, the hum of a live jazz trio, and cocktails built the old-fashioned way, one at a time. No neon. No tiki mugs. Just craft, patience, and a little bit of mystery behind an unmarked door.
